The Gowanus Oversight Task Force is a volunteer, community-based group that provides an online repository of information tracking each commitment’s status and holds quarterly public meetings to promote accountability, transparency, and continued engagement with the Gowanus community.

The Task Force works with New York City agencies to advance implementation of the commitments detailed in the 56 Points of Agreement (POA), as well as community goals outlined in the Gowanus Neighborhood Plan.

The Task Force hosts quarterly public meetings so the public can hear directly from New York City agencies on the status of the City’s commitments. These meetings also provide attendees with the opportunity to submit questions about the POA and exchange information about advancements in Gowanus.

Find past meeting information and register for upcoming public update meetings.
